Bangladesh wins gold decorations in 22nd Int'l Robot Olympiad

Junior groups have stowed gold decorations for a very long time straight in the inventive class 


Bangladesh has won two gold, two silver, five bronze decorations, and six specialized honors in the 22nd International Robot Olympiad (IRO) held in Daegu, South Korea. 


Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the advanced mechanics olympiad was held online this year. The Bangladeshi groups partook from BCS Innovation Center in Dhaka on December 13 and 14 of 2020, said an official statement. 


The current year's subject for the International Robotics Olympiad was Robot: The Future Transportation. 


In the "Innovative classification" of the opposition, the lesser gatherings of Bangladesh have sacked gold awards for long term in succession. 


The lesser group, Robo Sparkers, comprising of Misbah Uddin lnan of Chattogram Cantonment Public College and Zaima Jahin Wara of William Carey Academy, won the gold awards in the Creative classification. 


While in the test gathering, Nasheetat Zainah Rahman of Sunbeams and Quazi Mostahid Labib of Chittagong Grammar School-Dhaka of group RoboTigers won gold in the "Robot in Movie" class of the opposition.

RoboTigers additionally won a silver in the Creative Category. What's more, junior group, Robo Dreamers, won a silver in Robot in Movie class. 


Robo Sparkers won a bronze award in Robot in Movie classification. 


Group ROBOLUTION, sacked two bronze decorations in both the classes. 


In the interim, RoboBangla and junior group Tiger-71 stowed two other bronze awards in the inventive classification. 


Last yet not the least, TEAM_MATRIX, RoboBangla, and Monami, and junior groups, Robo Verse, Robo Dreamers, and Tiger 71, won the six Technical Awards. 


In 2018, Bangladesh partook without precedent for the International Robot Olympiad and had won one gold and one specialized honor. In 2019, Bangladeshi Robot Olympiad groups won one gold, two silver, and six bronze decorations with one specialized honor in the 21st International Robot Olympiad (IRO).
